Oakridge School Association

OSCA, our Parent Teacher Association, plays a very important part of Oakridge Primary School.

It helps provide a valuable link between home and school by organising activities which improve relationships between staff, parents and children.

The members of OSCA work very hard to support the education of all our children by helping to raise funds to purchase equipment which is not normally provided by the Local Authority.

OSCA organise fundraising events throughout the year, but the past 18months have proved to be a challenge for everyone and it has not been possible to run the two main events - the Summer and Christmas Fairs. Events such as these have helped provide monies to refurbish the ICT Suite, provide shelving and books for the Library and other items which the school would not have been able to provide.

There are a few ways in which you may help support the school.

Yourschoollottery.co.uk - has been set up specifically to raise money and make a difference for our children!  It's a fantastic way to bring Parents, Carers, Teachers and the wider community together, in partnership with our school, and at the same time give something back. We hope to raise funds that can support and enrich the education of our children - we aim to provide extra resources for the children, improve the school environment as well as run extracurricular activities such as music, art and sport.

ParentPay - We have setup a special Gift Aid page which is available via your ParentPay account or it can be accessed via this link

You do not need a ParentPay account to access this so it is ideal if friends or family wish to make a donation (or pay sposnorship money for instance). 

Please select 'Donation' from the drop-down menu (there is no need to complete the reason box) and provide the additional information that ParentPay is requesting. OSCA will then be able claim Gift Aid on your Sponsorship money which will increase our share by 25%.  

Our school relies on the funds raised by OSCA each year and this is an easy way for you to support the PTA and the school.
